Default Warrior build

How is this warrior build?

Would it be better to replace triple chop with ursan?

Ursan got nerfed so no. BTW, switch out at least the sword rune (use a sup salvage kit you can craft in GWEN) for vitae or something useful. Unless you are using two different weapons for some very odd reason, you don't want two weapon runes on. Generally speaking it's also better to have 14 in your weapon and 13 in str.

I was going to say that as well put little in tactics for Lions Comfort as it is required.

Age, LC hasn't needed tactics in a while.

Ammad, if you get the chance, you should switch headgears when you change weapons. Since you are in PvE it shouldn't be too much of a problem and in PvP you shouldn't waste any rune slots.

Thanks for the head ups I don't use LC that often mostly Heal Sig.When I was helping one of my guildies out being strenght based with sentinals I advise of LC instead of using endure pain for self heal.Back then you needed some points in tactics.

K,well.

First of all drop the tacs and sword runes, just use two different head pieces if you want sword and axe.

then,id recomend droping Rez sig for some other sort of rez(rebirth/rez chant/signet of return).
Other then that, its okay for what you want it to do.
If you have access to it,be sure to bring a hero with spinter weapon.

I used to use Heal Sig a lot but lately I've been leaning more towards LC. I like the fact you don't need to build up ADE to use Heal Sig, but LC has some included ade management plus you don't have to spec in a useless line. The nerf to WY was the last straw for me and I've mostly stopped using that line save for farming.

First of all, your strength and axe mastery should be switched around. As a warrior, you're going to be switching between sword axe and hammer quite often, so you should have a helmet for each. Second, get rid of sword and tactics runes. It's not extremely important, but there's no point for them. You're going to need different pieces of armor as a warrior for different runes.

Anyways, the build is decent. Nothing amazing, but not bad. If anything I'd switch Lion's Comfort for Dismember or something, unless you really need the self heal.

I wouldn't run 3 AoE skills for general play tbh. Unless you're in a specific area where you know you're going to be bunching up every mob (I did this in Slaver's), you've got a 10 second recharge Power Attack sitting in your elite slot.

Just something else to note: you have no way of inflicting Deep Wound. Personally I'd swap Cyclone Axe out for Dismember, and unless you really need it, swap out Resurrection Signet for Agonizing Chop or Distracting Blow.

Yeah I still use mine heal sig or I replace it with bulls strike.I would say that tactics is usefull if you are going to be using balanced stance.I hear it is good vs Sins.

I also hear that Shield Bash and Swift Chop do wonders against 'Sins, not to mention Griffon Sweep and Leviathan Sweep...

/facepalm

Seriously though, you have a lot of AoE. What Marty said about that much AoE unless you KNOW you are going to be facing that many mobs all of the time is QFT.

Personally, if it was in NM I would run Cleave+Dismember for spammable damage and DW, or in HM I would run Eviscerate for the +damage/DW combo. WW Attack is good in either case because it will do more damage than Cyclone Axe (if your Sunspear Rank is ^ 3) and it runs on Adrenaline rather than energy, but then again, this is coming from a self-professed Adrenaline-skill junkie.

You shouldn't do that unless those skills are better than your allies entire skill bar. And you must be playing with some really horrible people if one of those skills is better than a whole skill bar.

Balanced stance is only going to work mostly against sins that rely on trampling oxe going through. Swift Chop, griffons and levathan will only work on sins that use critical defences or flashing blades. Personally dont think either are that great counters. Shield Bash obviously is though.

Tactics is pretty much useless. In pvp a war should be doing damage, not trying to survive too much hence the tactics line isnt so great.

Lions Comfort (imo) > Heal Sig

In Pve I Am Unstoppable does the same as balanced stance except no cripple, and + armor...

Tactics isnt worth it... dont bother trying it.

Grab a deep wound skill for ur build. Also Cyclone axe isnt that great, especially when you already have so many aoe skills. Drop it for ur deepwound.

Otherwise you should be fine i guess. Ursan is not really worth it, triple chop is probably better. If you want some brainless play then ursan may be worth it for u. If not then Ursan is bad.

Consider trying to slot ebon battle standard of honor into ur bar, because since ur doing so much aoe damage its bonus will trigger more.

I agree that there are too many AoE attacks; the only time I've used all three is farming.

If the other players are good/halfway decent, then you can drop the res sig, and take a res scroll.

I can't fathom why anyone would recommend putting points into Tactics for Balanced Stance in PvP, by the way.

Triple Chop has its definite downsides, as Marty explained, so in PvE I'd generally go Cleave-Dismember like Tyrael suggested. Compared to Whirlwind Attack, TC is a travesty anyway.

I'm a big fan of Cyclone, much for the same reason all those AB nubwars like Hundred Blades - it charges your adren like @^$@#(()!!!!!11! - without taking up the Elite slot. Energy isn't a problem when most of the rest is adrenaline-based, and even a boon seeing as you can Cyclone right at the start of a fight for a fully charged bar.
